About the Role

ZUHAIR MURAD is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Female Tailor to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise in garment measurements, pattern cutting, alterations, and stitching, with proven experience working with luxury garments and high-end, delicate fabrics.

The candidate must demonstrate excellent attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship, with the ability to work to the highest standards expected in a luxury fashion environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Take accurate body and garment measurements and ensure proper fit.
• Perform professional cutting, stitching, fitting, and alterations of garments.
• Handle delicate and expensive fabrics with exceptional care.
• Carry out alterations while maintaining the original design, construction, and finish of the garment.
• Conduct fittings and make precise adjustments based on client requirements.
• Work with luxury, couture, and high-end fabrics, including delicate and intricate materials.
• Ensure all stitching, seams, finishing, hems, and details meet high-quality standards.
• Identify and correct fitting or construction issues.
• Follow garment specifications, patterns, measurements, and design instructions accurately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional tailoring workspace.
• Handle high-value garments responsibly and ensure there is no damage or fabric wastage.
• Coordinate with designers, stylists, sales consultants, and other members of the atelier/store team when required.
• Complete alterations and tailoring work within agreed deadlines.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience as a Tailor, preferably within luxury fashion, couture, bridal, evening wear, or high-end fashion.
• Strong knowledge of measurements, cutting, stitching, fitting, and alterations.
• Excellent understanding of garment construction and finishing techniques.
• Experience working with expensive, delicate, and high-end fabrics.
• Ability to perform precise alterations without compromising the original garment design.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent hand-finishing skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
• Good understanding of fashion silhouettes, garment fit, and construction.
• High level of responsibility when handling valuable garments.

Preferred Experience

Experience with couture, haute couture, luxury evening gowns, bridal gowns, embellished garments, or designer fashion will be highly advantageous.

Education

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR4,500.00 per month
