Full job description

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in garment stitching, alterations, measurements, and finishing, with a strong commitment to quality and precision.

The candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality garments according to customer requirements, design specifications, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stitch, alter, and finish garments with excellent precision and craftsmanship.
  • Take accurate body measurements and ensure proper fitting.
  • Work on bespoke garments, customized outfits, uniforms, and other tailoring projects.
  • Interpret garment designs, patterns, and stitching instructions.
  • Perform alterations, repairs, hemming, and fitting adjustments.
  • Operate and maintain industrial and domestic sewing machines.
  • Ensure neat finishing, consistent quality, and timely completion of orders.
  • Coordinate with the design team to achieve the desired style and fit.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tailoring workspace.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a tailor or master tailor.
  • Strong stitching, cutting, fitting, and alteration skills.
  • Knowledge of different fabrics, garment construction, and finishing techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship.
  • Experience in bespoke tailoring, uniforms, or costume production will be an advantage.
