Job Overview

We are seeking qualified and experienced Safety Officers for a 6-month project in Dukhan. The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring compliance with HSE standards, monitoring workplace safety, and supporting the safe execution of site activities. Preference will be given to candidates with QatarEnergy (QE) PTW Approval.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with client, QatarEnergy, and company HSE requirements.
• Conduct routine site inspections, safety audits, and hazard assessments.
• Monitor Permit to Work (PTW) activities and ensure adherence to permit conditions.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness sessions.
• Monitor high-risk activities including hot work, confined space entry, work at height, lifting operations, and excavations.
• Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and implementation of safe work practices.
• Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and inspection records.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Safety Officer in Oil & Gas, Industrial, Construction, or Maintenance projects.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, risk assessment, and PTW systems.
• QatarEnergy (QE) PTW Approval – Preferred.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification preferred.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Experience on QatarEnergy or similar Oil & Gas projects is an advantage.

Immediate joiners and candidates with valid QE PTW approval will be given preference.
