About the Role:
The HVAC Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and servicing of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential and mixed-use developments under a facilities management contract. This role includes fault diagnosis, system optimization, and ensuring compliance with indoor environmental quality and safety standards.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including split, window, ducted, package, VRV/VRF, and centralized units.
- Carry out Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) as per the maintenance schedule.
- Conduct daily inspections of HVAC equipment and maintain accurate records.
- Perform corrective and reactive maintenance within the required response time.
- Monitor refrigerant levels, detect leaks, and perform pressure testing.
- Install, upgrade, and maintain HVAC equipment, ductwork, ventilation, and exhaust systems.
- Ensure HVAC systems operate efficiently and comply with indoor air quality standards.
- Update maintenance reports and records through the CAFM system.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations, including refrigerant handling procedures.
- Provide emergency support and rapid response for HVAC breakdowns and system failures.
Requirements:
- Diploma or ITI Certification in Air Conditioning, Refrigeration, or HVAC Technology.
- Valid HVAC Technician Certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, troubleshooting, and repair of components and controls.
- Ability to read HVAC drawings/schematics and use diagnostic tools effectively.
- Knowledge of refrigerant handling procedures and safety regulations.
- Good communication, analytical, and time management skills.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HVAC maintenance within residential, commercial, or facilities management environments.
- Experience working in high-rise buildings, villas, and community infrastructure is an advantage.
- Ability to perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance of HVAC systems efficiently.
Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
