Job Summary

Our Company is seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Roaster to oversee coffee roasting operations, ensure product quality and consistency, and support the growth of our specialty coffee program. The ideal candidate will have strong technical roasting knowledge, quality control experience, and a deep passion for coffee.

Key Responsibilities

• Roast coffee beans according to established roast profiles and production schedules.
• Monitor and adjust roasting parameters to maintain consistency and quality.
• Conduct cupping sessions and quality control evaluations.
• Develop and refine roast profiles for various coffee origins and blends.
• Manage green coffee inventory and production planning.
• Maintain roasting equipment and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Train and mentor junior roasters and production staff.
• Maintain accurate production, inventory, and quality records.
• Collaborate with management on product development and operational improvements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in coffee roasting.
• Strong knowledge of coffee roasting techniques, green coffee, and quality control.
• Experience operating commercial coffee roasting equipment.
• Ability to perform cupping and sensory analysis.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Passion for specialty coffee and continuous learning.

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialty coffee certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in production planning and inventory management.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.

Pay: QAR5,500.00 per month
