Job Summary

The Nail Technician is responsible for providing professional nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art, while ensuring high standards of hygiene, customer satisfaction, and service quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesClient Services

• Perform manicures, pedicures, gel, acrylic, and other nail treatments
• Apply nail polish, nail extensions, and nail art designs as requested
• Consult with clients to understand preferences and recommend suitable treatments
• Maintain a friendly, professional, and welcoming attitude toward clients

Hygiene & Safety

• Follow salon hygiene, sanitation, and sterilization standards at all times
• Clean and disinfect tools, equipment, and workstations after each client
• Comply with health and safety regulations and salon policies

Product & Equipment Handling

• Use salon-approved products and tools correctly
• Report low stock levels or damaged tools to the supervisor
• Stay updated on new nail techniques, products, and trends

Sales & Customer Retention

• Promote salon services and retail products to clients
• Encourage repeat visits and maintain long-term client relationships
• Handle customer concerns or complaints professionally

Administrative Duties

• Maintain client records when required
• Support appointment scheduling and time management
• Assist with opening/closing duties if assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

• Certificate or diploma in Nail Technology or Beauty Therapy
• Proven experience as a Nail Technician (minimum 1–2 years preferred)
• Knowledge of manicure, pedicure, gel, acrylic, and nail art techniques
• Understanding of hygiene and sterilization standards
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to stand for long hours and work flexible shifts
