UNIT IN CHARGE – Cakes & Pastry Division
The Kitchen supervisor will be responsible for the end-to-end management, growth, & profitability of the pastry cloud kitchen. This role combines culinary leadership, operations excellence, cost control, team management, & brand execution to scale production while maintaining premium quality & consistency.
Key Responsibilities
1. Kitchen & Production Operations
- Plan and supervise daily production schedules for cakes, pastries, and desserts
- Ensure standard recipes, portion control, and presentation guidelines are followed
- Train, Implement and monitor SOPs for cleaning, storage, and food handling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and local health regulations
- Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and hygiene
2. Inventory & Procurement
- Maintain Inventory Logbook for raw materials, finished goods and packaging materials.
- Maintain a Wastage logbook, recording reasons of wastage and corrective actions.
- Monitor raw material stock levels and place timely purchase orders.
- Coordinate with suppliers/ Central Store to ensure quality and timely delivery.
3. Order Management & Delivery Coordination
- Oversee order processing from online platforms, walk-ins, and B2B clients.
- Support online promotions with food delivery platforms (Keeta, Talabat, Snoonu, etc.)
- Coordinate with delivery partners to meet with delivery timelines.
- Ensure timely preparation, packing, and dispatch of orders.
- Plan, assign, and manage driver schedules to meet delivery timelines.
4. Client Coordination & Customer Support
- Handle B2B inquiries, quotations, & negotiations in coordination with management.
- Ensure smooth order confirmation, production planning, & delivery coordination.
- Act as the point of contact for B2B clients for repeat orders & feedback.
- Address customer complaints and manage special orders.
5. Reporting & Administration
- Maintain daily sales log of online platforms, walk-ins, and B2B clients.
- Reconcile sales with POS reports and delivery records.
- Submit weekly sales reports for revenue, product-wise performance, and trends.
- Maintain Reconciliation Records & cost tracking.
- Share insights with management to support pricing, promotions and planning.
6. Social media and Digital Co ordination
- Monitor day-to-day social media activities (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook etc)
- Coordinate with HO for content posting (product photos, offers, updates, stories).
- Respond to customer messages, comments, and inquiries in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with photographers/marketing agencies when required.
- Ensure offers, menu updates, and brand communication are accurate and consistent.
7. Process Improvement & Scaling
- Identify operational gaps and suggest improvements
- Assist in setting up new processes, outlets, or expanding production
6. Team Management
- Supervise kitchen staff, helpers, and support teams.
- Prepare duty rosters and manage attendance.
- Address Staff Grievances in co-ordination with HO
- Train staff on SOPs, hygiene, efficiency and waste control.
