Industry: Drinking Water / FMCG Distribution

A leading company in the drinking water and FMCG sector is looking for an experienced and dynamic Distribution Operations Manager to lead and manage distribution operations in Qatar.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

* Manage and oversee all distribution operations for the drinking water business.

* Supervise warehouse activities including storage, loading, and dispatch operations.

* Ensure timely transportation and delivery of products to customers and retail clients.

* Plan and implement efficient logistics and distribution processes.

* Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock management.

* Coordinate maintenance, repair, and replacement of vehicles, machinery, and distribution equipment.

* Review and approve purchase requests and operational requirements.

* Ensure proper handling and storage of products according to hygiene and temperature standards.

* Plan and optimize delivery routes for operational efficiency.

* Supervise drivers, helpers, and distribution staff.

* Monitor fuel consumption, vehicle utilization, and delivery performance.

* Conduct market visits and maintain strong relationships with customers and retailers.

* Support sales growth initiatives and identify market demand.

* Negotiate with suppliers, retailers, and service providers when required.

* Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and Qatar Municipality requirements.

* Prepare operational reports and maintain distribution records.

* Resolve customer complaints and operational issues efficiently.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in distribution operations, preferably in drinking water or FMCG industry in Qatar.

* Strong knowledge of warehouse, fleet, and delivery operations.

* Excellent leadership and team management skills.

* Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

* Good communication and interpersonal skills.

* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

* Proficiency in MS Office and distribution management systems.

* Strong planning, organizational, and time-management skills.

* Valid Qatar Driving License preferred.
