The Hostess is responsible for creating a memorable first impression by warmly welcoming guests, managing reservations, coordinating seating arrangements, and ensuring a seamless guest experience in line with the standards of a luxury French café and restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a professional, friendly, and courteous manner.
- Manage reservations, wait-lists, and table allocations efficiently.
- Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
- Maintain an organized seating plan to maximize guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Answer telephone calls, respond to inquiries, and assist with reservation requests.
- Coordinate with the restaurant management and service team regarding table availability and guest preferences.
- Handle guest concerns and special requests professionally and promptly.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area at all times.
- Recognize VIP guests and ensure personalized service where applicable.
- Support restaurant events, promotions, and special occasions.
- Assist in monitoring guest flow and minimizing waiting times.
- Adhere to company policies, grooming standards, and luxury hospitality service procedures.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Hostess, Receptionist, or Guest Relations professional in a luxury restaurant, fine-dining establishment, or 4/5-star hotel.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Arabic speaking is an advantage.
- Professional appearance and impeccable grooming standards.
- Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in reservation management systems and basic computer applications.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
Pay: QAR3,250.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
