Job Summary:
GISS – Gift Station Trading is looking for a creative and technically skilled Embroidery Designer to create and prepare embroidery designs for garments and customized products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and digitize embroidery designs according to customer requirements.
  • Convert artwork and logos into embroidery-ready files.
  • Prepare designs with appropriate stitch types, densities, underlay, and thread colors.
  • Adjust designs based on garment type, fabric, size, and placement.
  • Review embroidery samples and make necessary adjustments.
  • Work closely with the embroidery machine operator and QC team.
  • Ensure designs are production-ready and meet quality standards.
  • Organize and maintain embroidery design files.
  • Make modifications and revisions to existing designs when required.
  • Ensure accurate sizing, positioning, and overall appearance of embroidery designs.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in embroidery design and digitizing is preferred.
  • Experience with embroidery digitizing software.
  • Knowledge of embroidery techniques, stitch types, thread types, and fabrics.
  • Strong understanding of design placement and sizing.
  • Attention to detail and good sense of aesthetics.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with garment customization is an advantage.
