A somewhat rigid and and strict environment
Wealth Management Intern (Former Employee) - Vienna, VA - April 22, 2013
Indeed Featured review
The most useful review selected by IndeedA somewhat overly strict and rigid work environment. Sometimes seems that everyone is out for their own success. Advancement limited at times.

Entretien d’embauche bafoué
Analyst quantitative credit risk modelling (Former Employee) - Zurich - May 23, 2022

Management with volatile vision
Work used to be interesting. Now not anymore given lack of consistent vision from senior management. Poor bonuses, not reflective of the hard work employees put in

Good place to start your career. Good starting pay, strong brand to put on your CV. There is a Lot to learn.

Sclerotic management
Director (Former Employee) - New York, NY - May 17, 2022
Rigid, hierarchical organization that fosters mediocrity. While they hire some good people, the poor leadership and lack of direction drives them out. It might be better in the less Swiss dominated areas but one of the worst places I’ve ever worked. Don’t look for raises or promotions. They’re slow to advance people.
Pros
Good work life balance- no one is working that hard
Cons
Mediocrity and lack of advancement

Great company
Pay Americas (Current Employee) - Nashville, TN - May 17, 2022
This is by far the best company I have ever worked for. Everyone is helpful and inviting. The pay is amazing and benefits are great; not to mention the time off.. I will definitely be retiring from this place.
Pros
Unlimited
Cons
I have none

Rewarding and Challanging at the same time
Solutions Architect (Current Employee) - New York, NY - May 15, 2022
An amazing work-life balance. Management is supportive but pay is far behind competitors. Depending on your team, the environment is very global and you deal with a wide variety of people.

Full of Hypocrite Management
Associate Director (Current Employee) - Pune, Maharashtra - May 6, 2022
They do NOT do what they say. They will force you to do something which is against policy and you will end up ruin your career. No work life balance atleast in my department, they will expect you to work on weekends. High attrition rate, even people do not accept counter offers. I will not recommend anyone
Pros
Leaves, Health insurance
Cons
Long hours, weekend work

Its a great job for someone who doesn't mind doing the same thing everyday.
KYC Analyst (Former Employee) - Weehawken, NJ - May 1, 2022
The job is easy once you learn what to do. It is also all remote so that is a plus. If you don't put any effort you wont move forward and you will not get a raise but thats a given at every job. The job can also get very redundant after a while but if you don't mind a basic structure and don't mind doing the same things everyday this job is great for you. The work to life balance is also great, I never had a problem requesting days off and I was never required to work overtime but the option is available. Also if you are bilingual make sure you use that as a tool to negotiate a higher salary because you will be translating documents for your peers who only speak English.

Respectful workplace but check team carefully
Software Engineer (Current Employee) - Japan - April 24, 2022
- Respectful culture. - Work life balance tends to be good in most teams, but some (or even which project within a team) can be bad. For some team members they feel it's normal to work after midnight and on weekends, this creates a bad culture where it is like the norm to put in that kind of effort, and in turn, management and users expect this is kind of speed we can deliver. - Probably common to a firm like this - base salary increase is hard to come by, promotion is hard to come by, but red tapes are easy to come by (though not as draconian as, and easier to escalate and get exception, compared to the larger firms). - Some good tech frameworks to learn from.

demotivating
Solutions Architect (Current Employee) - Weehawken, NJ - April 21, 2022
You negotiate well at the time of joining because after that increments and promotions are not the general "policy" of this organization. Also, you are better placed in European locations than in the US as this organization has an implied bias towards low cost centers such as India and power centers Zurich and London over US locations.
Cons
Insurance Premiums are sky high.

Good beginner job
Registered Client Service Associate (Former Employee) - Palm Beach, FL - April 11, 2022
Good beginner job but there was really no room for growth unless you were very self motivated. The pay was very low. It had to be made up through base, commission split with broker, and a little bonus. Annual company bonus was very small.

Great company
Analyst (Former Employee) - Stamford, CT - April 7, 2022
Great company to work at and the people are great. Investment banking is hard work but it will pay off if you are interested in the industry and want to grow there.

Corporate esque
IT Support Analyst (Current Employee) - Weehawken, NJ - April 4, 2022
Depending what team you're on it could be good. If you get your name known you can advance your career easily, however if you dont you can be very stagnant.
Pros
Great benefits Friendly people great starting job to kick off your career
Cons
Difficult job/career advancement ( you need to be "known" ) Required weekend work

Ok company to join
Director (Current Employee) - India - March 30, 2022
You can negotiate good hike while joining .. after that it’s pathetic. Slow promotions . Anyone hardly gets promoted beyond mid manager level . Not very exciting.
