Company is full of empty promises, everyone is payed differently and it’s never enough, management don’t have a clue what they’re doing and you can never get in touch with them. Machines broken for months and still not fixed. Don’t bother complaining about anything because you will get your head bitten off. All overtime has been taken off, they struggle to pay properly anyway. Never the right PPE given out. Waited 6 months for face masks in a pandemic.
Working for the company
I have been through 3 companies. Tivoli is the worst. When I started there was at least 60 people and we also had seasonal. Now there's about 20ih including seasonal, the work load hasn't changed! For the last 2 years they have promised skill related pay, which still hasn't happened. All extra work overtime has been stopped, even though they make a profit. Management are inexperienced and unprofessional. And ssack anybody they cant push around.
The blokes are alright
Management, wage, no benefits, workload, not replacing broken tools and machinery (sacking the fitter so now nothing is being repaired)
If your willing to work flat out all day, no breaks, overtime at standard rate, weekends, disorganised with really bad and old equipment all for minimum wage then go for it. Management haven't got a clue what they are doing and they make decisions purely based on cost cutting. Training is very poor and doesn't exist. The whole company inc managers are full of empty promises & lies My advice is go work at Aldi for £10 p/h as you will NEVER get anywhere close to that in 10+ years at this place
I worked here
Nothing but lies, management lie, they don’t care about you, worked for this company for two years, empty promises of pay rises for skill sets, they are now starting to charge people to drive vans home petrol cost, and also extra insurance cost for having a van.. worst company I’ve worked for..
Good bunch of guys you work with, round and route simple
Lies and no pay rises, minimum wage at best..avoid

Working at tivoli did have some benefits and wasn’t all bad, some of the employees there are good characters, I worked for the north east branch. The management was embarrassing, the main manager was impossible to talk to, swore at all this his staff, treat some different to others and made life at work difficult. I didn’t meet one person who worked at tivoli in jarrow who liked the manager. He was just rude and nasty in general. He had no management skills at all!
Enjoyable, fun ,working company and environment. Enjoyed all aspects of the job, all training was informative, and well inducted . I was treated and welcomed by all colleagues and staff. I was very disappointed to be paid off , id have loved to have continued to work there . Has it's a good place to work .
Tivoli took over my previous employer's landscape side of their business. In the beginning we were given some hope of better equipment, more staff, potential promotions, etc but it has been 18 months since the take over and there has been barely any change.... The equipment used at the moment is from 2 or 3 companies back. The current company is just full of empty promises and the communication is very poor too.
