Poor work life balance. Learned about gas operations. Qatari management, expats below. Good CEO. Little credit given to expats. Good experience to be involved in the world's largest gas business.
Not bad pay and benefits.
No career prospects for expats.
the work culture is really different , no matter what the local has the advantage , you cannot express your true opinion , just do your work. do not complain about the local managment.
healthcare really bad
Company with good benefit both for single or married status, supportive team work and colleagues, very procedural, decisions may take longer due to bureaucracy depending on which department you work in. Not many vertical move for expat but there are room to grow laterally

Long travel from Doha.
Typical works, including daily, weekly, monthly follow up, planning/schedule. I learned a lot while working in QG, such as HSE culture and implementation, ensuring quality works as per QG standards, good communications, etc. I had great experiences on workplace culture, which was created by Management, supported by QG. Tha Hardest part of the job was, to handle continuous deviation requests (Deviations from contratc/specifications, etc.) from Main contractor and ensure not impacting on EPC. There was a good communication, exchange experiences, new ideas, team work.
