Fast paced and busy environment

I clock into work and usually get started right away on whatever I am assigned to do that morning. I have learned how to perform my tasks quickly and safely and in a timely manner for when it is time for everything to be shipped out. I have always enjoyed working alongside my managers and coworkers. They have helped me a lot along the way and from that I have learned so much. The hardest part of this job is probably the hours. You don't realize it at first, but working overnight hours is an entire life adjustment. It was very difficult at first but now my body is used to it. I enjoy pretty much everything about this job. One of my favorite parts is being in a team oriented environment where everyone helps each other. We wouldn't be able to function as a whole without team work. This may sound strange, but I also enjoy the physical labor part of the job, It's almost like getting paid to work out sometimes.

Talented people, excellent pay, and a lot of work

The work hours are flexible depending on the position, and the work load is big. There's a lot of independence given, and the people you work with are talented and reliable and great teammates. The hardest part of the job is the intense workload, and very high quality standards. I greatly enjoyed the workplace culture.

Great work place

A typical day at work was taking phone calls, helping customers troubleshoot their Netflix. I learned a lot working for Netflix, some supervisors were really awesome and wiling to help you learn more about different departments while others were more about you just doing your job instead of helping you develop. Netflix says they are all about the "culture," but what they preach is not everything you see when you actually start working there. A lot of what they say, doesn't actually happen. Which I get, sometimes it doesn't meet the business needs. But it shouldn't be promised if they are not going to go through with it. They were making some changes that were definitely going in the right direction which I was super excited to be a part of, but sadly because of some of their policies that they are just playing with in attendance area, I am no longer able to participate in.

Nice interesting experience

I agree with actors and screenwriters being on strike. This is a company looking for their own benefits and destroying independent ways of creating. I don’t respect them. They were very concerned about young people interrelationships (flirts$) respectful place to work, interesting story, short schedule for shooting.

Easy and Repetitive

Easy and Repetitive. Customers are rude mostly nice but a few that are inpatient boomers that just need to click on forgot password and cant figure that out. Yet they proceed to tell you they make 100k a year. lol Management is laid back but need to be there a few years before you get to supervisor or move out of CSR role.

Pressure cooker with amazing benefits

Executives are under an insane amount of pressure to have the best idea in the room, and are regularly replaced. While the long hours and stress definitely trickle down to lower level employees, the benefits are incredible and it’s a great place to learn.

Buena empresa para trabajar en general

Sin embargo, hay equipos que están mitad en usa y mitad en mexico y otros países, tratan de que la comunicación sea efectiva pero realmente se guardan muchos secretos, hay demasiados cambios en los procesos, y si le caes mal a alguien del equipo te corren, eso si, te liquidan muy bien. No hay crecimiento y por supuesto hay favoritismo.

Good pay, not too stressful, but it’s contract to contract

Basically just the title. Unfortunately contract work is common in the LA industry for artists and animators, so it’s not just a Netflix thing. The way Netflix keeps canceling shows, obviously, is concerning, even though they’ve kept me for 2 years with a 3 month gap between contracts.

Great pay with little work (once a week for 2 hours only)

I worked as part of CDW and the pay was really great. I worked for 2 hours a week but the pay was really great (£60 for 2 hours). The work was relaxed and I was responsible only for ordering and managing stocks of apple products.

Great company with great management

I enjoyed my time at Netflix. Management was involved but allowed creativity withing the job requirement and encouraged teamwork and a pleasant work environment.

It is a vital media company and a great learning experience

It is a company that works at the heart of media and content innovation and as such it is a great place to work, to develop, and to learn. I would like to have the opportunity to work at Netflix again and be part of their winning team of professionals.

The projects are unique and interesting.

Cons

They cancel your contract as they cancel series.

Good Time

Netflix is a company to work for that has adequate transmission and synergy. I would recommend that you bring a coffee mug to drink out of. If you don't have a mug, a styrofoam cup will be provided.

Can get very political

Not a great fit for a lot of people. This isn’t a growth company any longer but it has great perks though. Do some research and really see what you’re signing up for
