The technical area is good, the only problem sometimes depends on the team you land on, but overall everyone is very open to change and talk. You mostly will have a job as long as you want to work.

Awesome workplace with competitive pay and quick advancement

this job is great, the travel is optional and frequent, business class, 5 star hotels (ritz carlton), the pay is competitive, there are clear expectations for performance and deliverables, regular feedback and promotions, raises are way more substantial than just inflation like industry players, management cares about the work and the work is meaningful to clients and the world.

5 star hotels, business class travel, remote work optional, $100k down payment loan to buy a house

meetings are at all times of the day, so work does not turn off before 7am or after 6pm

Benefits are amazing!

Workspace and culture are fairly decent. Benefits are completely paid by company for employee and very minimal for family coverage. Starting pay is decent but could be more.

Very stressful work environment

Stressful environment. Deadline is very difficult to reach. Three shifts are there. Early morning, late shift and night shif. Can facilities and food facilities are good

Fast paced and high pressured environment

Client service is huge and often comes at the expense of employee wellness. If you're on a partnership path and can stick it out, it can be great. Non client service paths struggle to be seen and aren't always respected.

Long hours, dominant and aggressive attitudes, lack of respect for functional roles

El ambiente laboral es bueno se recibe mucho apoyo y en general los compañeros son amables y dispuestos ha ayudar sin embargo la carga laboral en ocasiones puede ser muy pesada y hay que ser muy ordenado

Great inclusivity

Work hard, play hard. McKinsey offers a lot of fun opportunities for the employees to bond and has incredible benefits. The consultants are on the road generally Mon-Thurs so Fridays are busy.

Great people in difficult situations

The firm works hard to hire great, team-oriented people. Managers do the best they can to support and encourage their teams. There often is not enough staff to do the work leading to high stress.

McKinsey & Company is a world class employer that values individual performance while maintaining a culture of team effort. Every one counts; everyone's contribution matters. At the end of the day, there is a wonderful sense of job satisfaction.

Big projects but toxic culture

Toxic environment; micro management, fear and threatened about the evaluation; make you work 12-15 hours a day.Projects are high impact; you deal with C-level clients; you learn a lot from different industries.

Great company, as long as you don't work in a service center

McKinsey Service centers, Tampa in particular, are poorly managed and don't treat executive assistants particularly well. Company values and culture aren't extended to service centers, and we were reminded often how "replaceable" we were. Policies are enforced selectively, and yearly reviews and promotions aren't based off of merit - instead your rating depends on how friendly you are with upper management.You are a number to them, nothing more than data on a spreadsheet, unless you are a consultant. They will use their fantastic benefits to hold over your head and it's how they retain the administrative professionals who haven't chosen to leave yet.

Zero culture in service centers, you are a replaceable asset to them and not a person.

Unique place to learn about different industries and expand your capabilities. Wor like balance is efinitely not ideal but compensation is usually above industry standard

Lucky to be part of one of the top global management consulting firm! A lot of trainings provided and there are even opportunities to travel outside Manila.

Hard work but high growth

Hard work but deeply rewarding and impactful. People are exceptional and highly driven. Culture is a little intense depending on which team/ office you’re a part of.
