Small workforce for this plant. Friendly, helpful co workers. Pay is above average for area. Good medical and dental/vision benefits. Has good 401k program. Allows for four unpaid personal days per year, otherwise attendance is based on point system
I loved my job here to a certain point things went down hill close to me leaving a lot of bad happened with other employees but if I had the chance to go back I would cause they can and will be put in their place but life was amazing working there great benefits checks where great it’s really a nice place to work
Management hires you and then find a reason to let you go immediately before you make your 90 day probation. Immediate manager was upset because I called in and decided to let me go after I was on time from the day I started. He decided to fire me for not reporting an injury directly to him although their policy was to report injuries to a manager. The injury was reported to his manager, because he was not on the floor. Unfortunately it was only an issue because he was angry that I called in.
The equipment on my line was extremely outdated and took a major toll on your body. Even being in my 20's it was not easy work. The line supervisor I had was okay. But the HR and union reps obviously favored their own race. I was let go after being assaulted on the line and reporting it to my union/HR. How do you get assaulted and get let go? The place is covered in signs that tell you to let HR know if you are bullied or anything like that. I let HR know this kid had an issue with me for no apparent reason from week 1. A year later he somehow gets me fired (reported this as well). The work was very difficult and like I said, needed new equipment to be able to properly run the line. They expected way too fast as pace for the garbage machines they gave you to pull it off on.
Do not work there unless you’re willing to be treated like a number instead of an employee Drama High school drama To sum it up NIGHTMARE MISTAKE
You can make good money but they want you to work 12 hours a day 6/7 days a week
r POOR MANAGEMENT-Cooking the books fudging numbers
Johnson Control/ Yanfeng is going through a huge lay off period which happened 6-7 yrs ago as well. If they were securing more business it would be an awesome place to work but the lack of new business makes it an unstable work place. One day you can come in to work and at the end of your shift you could be laid off you just never know.
