Worthwhile experience and you are updated with latest industry technologies. Trainings are provided whenever necessary. It is a company with high level of ethical standard. Work is challenging as you will be involved in all aspects of the works. However, management structure changes very often and career promotion is less likely to be given.
Steady work Average benefits management make some off-the-wall decisions from time to time.Very dollar oriented corporation always looking for ways to cut costs ,tendency to micromanage.
Climate control building
Lots of overtime
The Upper Management and lack of support make the Delaware Facility the worst place to work. They treat there Supervisor like dirt and the turnover for Supervisor is astonishing. The union runs the place! the poor Supervisor get beat-up daily by upper Management and the Union. They get no support what so ever. Plus the favoritism in upper Management is easy to see. Sorry to say but this also goes for the Union side. in Short, if you want to keep your job you better be able to kiss a lot of Butt!
No LIFE! They force you to work almost all you Holidays!
It was very good the last 20 years working in this company, but lately everything changed after giving most the Managment to managers from Tyco organization, company bought by JCI.In the past, managers really took care of personnel. Now, it is more important, or it looks like,to predict production/sales & profit and do not fail to the estimate, even than customer’s needs.
Lost of care on customers

No place for advancement, Pay not great, empty promises from management, no life-work balance, point system is flawed, supervisors don’t know what they’re doing, no proper training, hard workers aren’t acknowledged, a lot of misinformation about covid
Good benefits. Inconsistencies after merger, but they'll get that worked out. Good people. Fun place to work. The job could be done remotely, but they're reluctant to allow it. Many people are working from home due to Covid 19, so it's been proven to work. Hope this changes in the future.
Benefits, generous vacation
Efficient systems, but they seem outdated.
I like working for Johnson Controls and the benefits are really good but the pay is below the industry average. The work life balance is good depending on the department. If you're hired to work in the shipping department work life balance is not good. You will work long hours and 6 days a week.
As long as you do your job properly and within the company standard operating procedures you will have a job. The benefits are decent & your paycheck is always in your account on payday.
Minimal supervision, your expected to do your job and if you run into issues contact your supervisor.
No internal promotions, you must apply for a job to advance at least at administrative level.
