It was ok
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) - Meridian, ID - November 30, 2023
It was an ok place to work. Management was always down your back about metrics right after training. Pay was decent and the benefits were good but very stressful when it came to performance.

There are a lot of great companies out there that value their employees. Sadly Citi is not one of them
CSR - Customer Service Representative (Remote) (Former Employee) - Florence, KY - November 30, 2023
What is the best part of working at the company? Working remotely is what drew my attention to Citi What is the most stressful part about working at the company? The overwhelming amount of customers in the ques, CSR's are required to handle a lot of stressful situations with a lot of glitches in Citi's system What is the work environment and culture like at the company? Being remote it was actually relaxing. The culture sounds great but it's not followed by supervisors. What is a typical day like for you at the company? Very busy answering customer requests. researching for answers providing financial answers and protecting clients information

Productive, good culture
Wealth Relationship Manager (Current Employee) - New York, NY - November 30, 2023
Enjoy working at Cit, great life-work balance. Could be better when it comes to management but so far it seems the revamping it’s going through is steering the bank in the right direction. Highly recommend

Higher Salary/Non-toxic environment
Customer Solutions Officer (Current Employee) - BGC - November 29, 2023
Citi offers a very great salary and you have liberty when it comes to taking your breaks (first/last break/lunch break), and VLs. However, there were times that the workload will be very heavy (depends on the department you'll be in), there's also shifting schedule.
Pros
High salary and good benefits, non -toxic environment
Cons
work load, shifting schedule, there were KPIs that are so high standard to achieve

Great Experience
Software Developer (Former Employee) - Mississauga, ON - November 23, 2023
Great work culture. Result oriented work. The team was supportive and dedicated. The working hours were flexible. Large complex teams and too long meetings are a con.

Meh
Trading Analyst (Former Employee) - New York, NY - November 23, 2023
It is okay, nothing too crazy about this place. You need to buy your own snacks in the office. It's kept laying off people this year. Culture is mixed, really depends on the desk. Some are borderline toxic.

OK place to learn
Analayst (Former Employee) - Kuala Lumpur - November 21, 2023
Nice place to learn a lot of things. After you list your experience, add your education. Generally, financial analysts have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance or a similar subject. It's important to include your education so the hiring manager knows you've received formal training. List the type of degree you earned, followed by the name of the college or university you attended. If you possess several degrees, add them in reverse chronological order.

Room for improvement
Intern (Former Employee) - South Africa - November 21, 2023
The culture within the organization had taken a distressing turn, becoming an environment entrenched in toxicity. It was characterized by a pervasive negativity that seeped into every aspect of interaction, stifling creativity, eroding morale, and creating an atmosphere where trust and collaboration struggled to thrive. This toxic culture had woven its way through the fabric of the workplace, tainting relationships and hindering productivity.

Do NOT work at Citi
Fraud Analyst (Former Employee) - Jacksonville, FL - November 20, 2023
Your boss will threaten termination every day until every statistic across the board are exceeding expectations. Management uses scare tactics to scare you into performing well and suddenly pull overtime out from under you if they feel you don’t deserve it. The turnover rate here is similar to a restaurant and the business seems to be failing with all the lay offs happening within Citi.
Pros
Work from home
Cons
Poor management Managers will find any way to have you sign off so citi does not have to pay you
