Great Consulting Company

Construction representative duties on this project included oversight of: taxiway and runway overlay and lighting rehabilitation; traffic control; asphaltic pavement removal; joint and crack repair; paint and rubber removal; runway and taxiway painting; seeding; mulching; drainage for the widening of taxiways and runways; taxiway and runway edge lights removal and mounting; underground 8AWG, 5kv cable direct buried; lighted sign removal and relocation; bituminous concrete pavement overlay; and striping and painting runways. Computed quantities to pay the contractor, monitored daily progress, prepared the change orders and communicated with the city, airport authorities and contractors. Airport and aviation experience includes construction services for rehabilitation and construction of taxiways and runways, shop drawing design for an aircraft technical facility, and evaluation of pavement condition. to review structural design for Interchanges, Structures, underground tunnels and culverts to ensure compliance with Qatar Highway Design Manuals (QHDM) and other international codes, review/comment on consultant’s submissions for concept design, preliminary and detailed design.. review comments on tender documents, bill of quantities, unit price, cost estimates, Liaise with outside agencies to ensure design meet their requirements, Liaise with utilities agencies to ensure their requirements are adhered to by consultants, follow up on approval from outside agencies, Monitor construction works and provide input to NDIA management team.
