Job Summary :

We are looking for a proactive and innovative Biomedical Engineer to design, develop, and optimize medical devices, equipment, and healthcare technologies that enhance patient care and clinical outcomes. The ideal candidate will provide engineering solutions that support healthcare professionals, evaluate and validate biomedical systems to ensure safety, reliability, and performance, and ensure compliance with applicable quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, inspect, test, calibrate, and maintain biomedical and medical equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on medical devices.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment faults and technical problems.
• Ensure medical equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Coordinate with clinical staff, doctors, nurses, vendors, and service providers regarding equipment requirements and issues.
• Conduct equipment safety inspections and performance testing.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, manufacturer recommendations, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance documentation.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Medical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Knowledge of medical equipment, electronics, instrumentation, and basic electrical systems.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance is preferred.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read technical manuals, equipment specifications, and electrical diagrams.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
