Job Title: Staff Accountant
Reports To: Accounting Manager / Finance Director

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to maintain financial records, prepare reports, and ensure compliance with accounting principles. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of bookkeeping, reconciliations, and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
  • Prepare and post journal entries.
  • Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Assist with the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Assist with internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS and local tax regulations.
  • Process payroll and ensure accurate tax filings (if applicable).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of accounting experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Reports To: Controller / CFO

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Accountant to oversee core financial operations and mentor junior staff. This role requires a strategic thinker who can analyze financial data, improve accounting processes, and ensure financial accuracy across all business units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full-cycle accounting process, including month-end and year-end close.
  • Review and analyze financial variances and present reports to senior management.
  • Manage intercompany transactions and consolidations.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Develop and implement internal control policies to mitigate risk.
  • Streamline accounting processes and implement system improvements.
  • Prepare complex reconciliations for fixed assets, prepaids, and accruals.
  • Supervise and train junior accounting staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s or CPA preferred).
  • 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Sage, or Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Pay: QAR2,453.86 - QAR6,799.71 per month
