Job Title: Telecom Engineer (Fiber Optic)
Requirement – 1 No.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: BSc. in Telecommunication Engineering or Equivalent.
- Experience: 5years ofextensive experiencein Fiber Optic Network (Installation/Splicing/Testing)
- Extensive experience in Fiber Optic Tools & Testing Equipment (Splicing Machine, OTDR,Laser Source, Power Meter, etc.)
- Have attended multipleTrainings related to Fiber Optic (Installation/Splicing/Testing)
- Preferred–that have worked with OOREDOO, QNBN or VODAFONE Fiber Optic Infrastructures.
Major Responsibilities:
· Reporting to Telecom Sr. Engineer / Head of Section
· Operation & Maintenance of Kahramaa’s Fiber Optic Network
· Cable Installations, Splicing, Testing & Commissioning.
· Site Acceptance Test
· Fiber Optic Network Planning
· Fault Attending/ Troubleshooting
Project Site Inspections.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Work Location: In person
