The F&B Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of food and beverage services, ensuring high standards of customer service, food quality, hygiene, and operational efficiency. The role requires previous experience within a Facilities Management (FM) environment, including managing catering services, staff supervision, client coordination, and adherence to contractual KPIs and health & safety regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

  • Supervise day-to-day food and beverage operations across cafeterias, restaurants, pantry services, and catering functions.
  • Ensure service delivery meets contractual requirements, company standards, and client expectations.
  • Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion control standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections of dining areas, kitchens, and service points.
  • Coordinate with kitchen, housekeeping, and FM teams to ensure seamless operations.

Team Supervision

  • Lead, motivate, and supervise F&B staff, including waiters, baristas, cashiers, and catering personnel.
  • Prepare duty rosters and manage staff scheduling.
  • Conduct staff training on customer service, food safety, hygiene, and operational procedures.
  • Monitor employee performance and provide coaching where necessary.

Customer & Client Management

  • Address customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
  • Maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through consistent service excellence.
  • Support client meetings and special events by coordinating catering requirements.

Inventory & Cost Control

  • Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment of inventory.
  • Assist in controlling food and beverage costs, wastage, and shrinkage.
  • Verify deliveries and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with food safety regulations, HACCP standards, and local health requirements.
  • Implement hygiene and sanitation procedures across all F&B operations.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with Facilities Management policies and procedures.

Reporting & Administration

  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Monitor KPIs and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain attendance records, inventory reports, and operational documentation.
  • Support audits and inspections conducted by clients or regulatory authorities.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Food Service Management, or related field.
  • Food Safety/HACCP Certification preferred.
  • Additional certifications in hospitality or catering management are advantageous.

Experience Requirements

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Food & Beverage operations.
  • At least 2 years of supervisory experience within a Facilities Management (FM) environment.
  • Experience managing catering services, corporate dining facilities, staff cafeterias, or large-scale food service operations.
  • Experience working in multicultural environments preferred.

Preferred Industry: Facilities Management, Hospitality, Corporate Catering, Camp Operations, Healthcare Catering, or Integrated FM Services.

Pay: Up to QAR4,500.00 per month
