Job Title: Deputy Manager
Location: Doha, Qatar
Industry: Facilities Management / Maintenance

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Deputy Manager with a strong background in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering to support and oversee maintenance management operations within our facilities. The ideal candidate must hold a valid UPDA certification and bring a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in managing maintenance operations in a compatible facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day maintenance operations to ensure smooth facility functioning.
  • Supervise and coordinate with engineering and maintenance teams for efficient workflow.
  • Monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Support in resource planning, budgeting, and cost control for maintenance projects.
  • Prepare technical and operational reports for management review.
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new technologies, systems, and processes to improve efficiency.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • UPDA certification is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant maintenance management experience in a compatible facility.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in maintenance management systems and MS Office.
  • Experience in facility management within the GCC region.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR12,000.00 per month
