THE ROLE:

At The Ned Doha, we create memorable experiences through exceptional service, warm hospitality, and a strong commitment to the safety and wellbeing of our guests and team members. We are looking for an experienced and people-focused ASSISTANT HEAD OF SECURITY to join our team and help maintain a secure, welcoming, and professional environment across our property.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

Support the Director of Security in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Security department
Lead, motivate, and develop the Security team to ensure high performance and service excellence
Monitor security procedures, safety standards, and emergency response protocols across the property
Assist in conducting investigations, incident reporting, and implementing preventive measures
Ensure compliance with company policies, local regulations, and health & safety standards
Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders when required
Conduct regular security inspections and risk assessments to maintain a safe environment
Support training initiatives and encourage a culture of awareness and accountability

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership security role within hospitality, hotels, or a similar environment
Strong knowledge of security operations, emergency procedures, and health & safety practices
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships
Calm and confident approach with strong decision-making abilities under pressure
Excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage
Professional appearance with a positive and service-oriented mindset
Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required
