Full job description

The Risk Management Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing risk-related activities across client engagements, including the development and maintenance of Risk Management Plans and related mitigation strategies. This role involves identifying, analyzing, and managing risks across various industries, while collaborating with both internal teams and client stakeholders to implement tailored risk solutions, ensure regulatory compliance, and enhance overall business resilience.

Preference will be given to qualified candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following:

  • Risk Assessment: Identify and evaluate potential risks, including operational, financial, and reputational threats.
  • Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement strategies and action plans to minimize identified risks.
  • Compliance Management: Ensure the company complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present risk management reports to senior leadership.
  • Training & Awareness: Conduct risk management training sessions for employees at all levels to raise awareness and ensure adherence to best practices.
  • Incident Response: Coordinate and manage response plans in case of risk events or crises, ensuring effective resolution.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review and improve risk management processes, tools, and frameworks.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of ten (10) years’ overall experience in construction project delivery with a minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience in risk management.
  • A completed Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a closely related discipline.
  • Mandatory formal training or certifications in Risk Management like PMI-RMP, ISO 31000 or equivalent recognized credentials.
