Restaurant Area Manager jobs

Position Summary
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent food and beverage service, maintaining customer satisfaction, managing staff performance, controlling operational costs, and ensuring compliance with company standards, hygiene, and safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage daily Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations.
• Deliver excellent food and beverage service and ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
• Respond to customer complaints efficiently, professionally, and accurately.
• Organize, supervise, and monitor daily shifts.
• Regularly review product quality and coordinate with vendors when required.
• Ensure proper stock availability for food items, kitchen utensils, cleaning materials, and operational supplies.
• Appraise staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity and service standards.
• Train new and existing employees on customer service standards, restaurant policies, and operational procedures.
• Ensure compliance with sanitation, hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety regulations.
• Maintain the restaurant’s professional image and suggest improvements where needed.
• Control operational costs and identify ways to reduce waste.
• Prepare detailed weekly, monthly, and annual reports on revenue, expenses, and operational performance.
• Recommend strategies to attract more customers, including discounts, offers, and social media promotions.
• Implement company policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure smooth and consistent restaurant operations.

Requirements and Skills

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Restaurant General Manager, Hospitality Manager, or similar role.
• Strong experience in customer service and restaurant operations.
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage operations.
• Ability to explain menu items, ingredients, and dishes to customers and staff.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software is an advantage.
• Strong leadership, motivational, and people management skills.
• Good financial management and cost control skills.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle customer concerns professionally.

Pay: Up to QAR10,000.00 per month
