Full job description

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Public Relations Officer (PRO) for a temporary vacancy in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling all government-related transactions, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with government authorities and ministries.

The ideal candidate must have extensive knowledge of Qatar's labor, immigration, and licensing procedures, with the ability to manage documentation efficiently and ensure timely processing of all company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle all government-related documentation and approvals for the company.
  • Process employment visas, residence permits (RP), Qatar IDs (QID), medical applications, renewals, transfers, and cancellations.
  • Coordinate with government departments including:
  • Ministry of Interior (MOI)
  • Ministry of Labour
  • Ministry of Commerce and Industry
  • Municipality and other regulatory authorities
  • Process labor contracts, company registrations, and license renewals.
  • Track expiry dates of company licenses, permits, visas, and employee documentation.
  • Submit applications and follow up on approvals through online government portals and in-person visits when required.
  • Maintain accurate records of all government transactions and employee documentation.
  • Ensure full compliance with Qatar labor laws, immigration regulations, and company policies.
  • Support HR and management teams with administrative and legal documentation requirements.
  • Handle correspondence with government entities and external stakeholders.
  • Provide timely updates regarding regulatory changes and compliance requirements.

QualificationsRequired Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Human Resources, Law, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as a Public Relations Officer (PRO) in Qatar.
  • Strong knowledge of Qatar labor laws, immigration procedures, and government regulations.
  • Experience dealing with government portals and online processing systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Arabic language proficiency is highly preferred.
  • Strong organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.

PRO Requirements

  • Valid Qatar Driving License (Required).
  • Transferable Visa with NOC (Preferred).
  • Experience handling:
  • Employment visas
  • QID processing and renewals
  • Labor contracts
  • Company licensing and renewals
  • Immigration and Ministry transactions
  • Familiarity with MOI, Labour Department, Hukoomi, Metrash, and related government platforms.
  • Immediate availability is preferred.
