Job Summary

• Site Supervision of MEP Works: Supervise day-to-day execution of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, firefighting, and ELV systems to ensure work is carried out as per approved shop drawings, method statements, and technical specifications.
• Work Planning & Resource Allocation: Plan, assign, and schedule daily and weekly activities to ensure optimal utilization of manpower, tools, and materials in line with project milestones.
• Drawing & BOQ Review: Conduct detailed review of IFC drawings, BOQs, and technical documents prior to execution to identify discrepancies and prevent rework.
• Coordination with Other Trades: Coordinate with civil, architectural, and structural teams to avoid clashes and ensure seamless integration of MEP services.
• Quality Assurance & Inspections: Conduct internal inspections, ensure work is inspection-ready, support WIR/MIR processes, rectify consultant comments, and maintain quality documentation.
• Testing & Commissioning Support: Supervise pre-commissioning, testing, and commissioning of MEP systems; coordinate with consultants and clients during witnessing activities.

Duties and Essential Job Functions

• HSE Compliance & Safety Leadership: Enforce HSE policies, conduct toolbox talks,
• ensure proper PPE usage and promote a strong safety culture aligned with company IMS standards.
• Material & Equipment Coordination: Raise material requests, coordinate with procurement and stores, and ensure timely availability of approved materials and tools.
• Productivity Monitoring: Track workforce productivity and identify performance gaps to improve efficiency and reduce project delays.
• Subcontractor Supervision: Monitor subcontractor performance, ensure compliance with technical and safety standards, and validate completed work.
• Progress Reporting: Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports highlighting achievements, risks, delays, and corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement & Training: Attend technical training sessions and seminars to upgrade knowledge and ensure compliance with evolving local regulations and technologies.
• Trains personnel in the safe operation of equipment and tools Detailed study of approved drawings.
• Positively involve, implement, and participate in achieving the company IMS Policy, Procedures and Objectives

Job Specifications

• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering, or related filed
• Professional Experiences: Minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in MEP/building construction
• Licenses/Certifications: MMUP/Professional engineering license (PE) Preferred.
• Competencies:
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel, and reporting tools.
  • Good understanding of construction methods and sequencing.
  • Strong communication and coordination abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
