Job Summary

We are seeking a Junior Medical Officer to support medical underwriting and claims processes. The role involves reviewing medical information, assisting with risk assessment, and providing medical insights to support insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and analyze medical reports, lab results, and health declarations.
• Assist in medical underwriting for health and life insurance policies.
• Support claims team by assessing medical aspects of insurance claims.
• Coordinate with Underwriters to support policy decisions and approvals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or Life Sciences
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good computer proficiency (MS Office).

Skills Required

• Experience in insurance or medical underwriting.
• Knowledge of local healthcare system in Qatar.
