Medical Coordinator jobs

We are looking for a Medical Insurance Coordinator to manage insurance-related administrative and billing activities. The successful candidate will coordinate with patients, insurance companies, healthcare providers, and internal departments to ensure accurate and timely processing of insurance claims, approvals, and payments.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits.
• Obtain and follow up on insurance pre-authorizations and approvals.
• Submit medical insurance claims accurately and within required timelines.
• Review claims and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Follow up with insurance companies regarding pending, rejected, or denied claims.
• Coordinate with medical, billing, and reception teams to resolve insurance-related issues.
• Communicate with patients regarding insurance coverage, approvals, and claim-related matters.
• Maintain accurate records of insurance approvals, claims, correspondence, and payments.
• Identify claim discrepancies and assist with corrections and resubmissions.
• Monitor outstanding insurance receivables and follow up as required.
• Ensure compliance with insurance company requirements and internal policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Medical Billing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in medical insurance coordination, medical billing, claims processing, or a similar healthcare role.
• Good knowledge of medical insurance procedures, claims, approvals, and denials.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good English communication skills; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

Pay: From QAR3,036.17 per month
