Job Purpose

The Company Nurse is responsible for providing basic healthcare services, first aid, emergency care, health monitoring, and medical support to employees. The role also promotes workplace health and safety and ensures compliance with company policies and applicable health regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide first aid and emergency medical treatment to employees in case of illness or injury.
• Assess employees' medical conditions and provide appropriate initial care.
• Maintain and manage the company clinic, first-aid room, and medical supplies.
• Monitor employees with medical conditions and provide necessary health support.
• Conduct basic health assessments, including:
• Blood pressure
• Temperature
• Blood sugar
• Weight and other basic health checks
• Maintain confidential employee medical records and health documentation.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed or authorized.
• Coordinate with hospitals, clinics, ambulance services, and healthcare providers when necessary.
• Arrange medical assistance and emergency transportation for injured or seriously ill employees.
• Assist with pre-employment and periodic medical examinations, where applicable.
• Support workplace health awareness programs, including:
• Hygiene
• Nutrition
• Diabetes awareness
• Blood pressure management
• Infectious disease prevention
• Mental and general wellbeing
• Monitor workplace health and safety conditions and report potential health risks.
• Participate in emergency response procedures and workplace accident investigations.
• Prepare incident reports for workplace injuries and medical emergencies.
• Ensure adequate stock of medicines, first-aid supplies, and emergency equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper organization of the medical/first-aid facility.
• Coordinate with the HR and HSE departments regarding employee health-related matters.
• Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of all medical information.
• Comply with applicable healthcare regulations, company policies, and occupational health and safety requirements.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing license from the relevant health authority.
• Previous experience as a Company Nurse, Occupational Health Nurse, Clinic Nurse, or Registered Nurse is preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and First Aid.
• Knowledge of occupational health and workplace safety practices.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills and with Hindi or Nepalese languages.
• Ability to respond calmly and effectively during emergencies.
• Proficiency in maintaining medical records and preparing reports.

Job Types: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: Up to QAR1.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)
