We are looking for an experienced and highly organized Catering Supervisor to oversee catering operations and ensure smooth service delivery, high food quality, and excellent customer satisfaction.

Job Summary

The Catering Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and supervising catering activities, including event preparation, staff deployment, food and beverage service, setup and breakdown, and coordination with the kitchen and operations teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong F&B and hospitality experience, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in catering, F&B, hospitality, or a similar supervisory role.
• Previous experience as a Catering Supervisor, F&B Supervisor, Restaurant Supervisor, or similar position is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of catering and food service operations.
• Experience supervising and coordinating service teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage staff during events and busy service periods.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with kitchen, service, logistics, and management teams.
• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily catering operations and events.
• Plan and organize staff deployment according to event requirements.
• Coordinate with the kitchen team regarding menus, quantities, preparation, and timing.
• Ensure food and beverages are prepared, transported, presented, and served according to company standards.
• Oversee event setup, service, and breakdown activities.
• Brief catering staff before events and ensure all team members understand their duties.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure professional service throughout the event.
• Ensure all catering equipment, serviceware, supplies, and materials are available and properly prepared.
• Coordinate logistics for the timely delivery and setup of food, beverages, equipment, and supplies.
• Conduct checks before and during events to ensure quality, presentation, cleanliness, and readiness.
• Handle customer requests and concerns professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
• Maintain close communication with clients, event coordinators, kitchen teams, and management.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene, and sanitation practices throughout catering operations.
• Ensure staff follow company SOPs, service standards, and safety procedures.
• Monitor inventory and report shortages, damages, or operational issues.
• Assist with cost control by minimizing food waste, product loss, and unnecessary consumption of supplies.
• Prepare or submit event reports and provide feedback to management after catering activities.
• Support recruitment, training, coaching, and performance development of catering staff.
• Ensure all equipment and service areas are properly cleaned, organized, and stored after each event.
• Maintain a professional and positive working environment for the catering team.
