Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to lawyers and the legal department.
  • Prepare, format, organize, and maintain legal documents, contracts, correspondence, and case files.
  • Draft letters, emails, legal notices, and other official correspondence as required.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of legal documents and client information.
  • Coordinate meetings, appointments, hearings, and other legal schedules.
  • Assist with preparing and submitting documents to relevant authorities, courts, and government departments.
  • Monitor deadlines, appointments, case updates, and required submissions.
  • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence professionally.
  • Communicate with clients, government authorities, courts, and other relevant parties when required.
  • Translate or prepare documents and correspondence in Arabic and English.
  • Perform general administrative duties and provide support to the legal team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Legal Secretary or in a similar legal administrative role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
  • Good knowledge of legal terminology, documentation, and office procedures.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience in Qatar or familiarity with local legal/government procedures will be an advantage.
