Key Responsibilities;

• Conduct chemical analysis of construction materials following ASTM, BS, AASHTO, and other applicable standards.
• Prepare samples, reagents, and solutions required for routine and advanced laboratory tests.
• Perform tests such as pH, chloride content, sulfate content, organic impurities, moisture content, alkali-silica reactivity, chemical composition, and other required parameters.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as titration systems, spectrophotometers, ovens, balances, and other analytical instruments.
• Ensure proper calibration and verification of laboratory instruments.
• Record test observations, calculate results, and prepare technical test reports with accuracy and clarity.
• Follow laboratory quality procedures under ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to all safety guidelines.
• Assist in method validation, proficiency tests, and continuous improvement of lab processes.
• Coordinate with other lab staff, supervisors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of results.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a material testing or analytical laboratory (preferred).
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and chemical handling procedures.
• Familiarity with ASTM, BS, and AASHTO testing standards.
• Available in Qatar and immediate joiner

• Attention to detail and high accuracy in reporting results.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and report-writing skills.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, LIMS is a plus)
