Job Summary:
The Cleaner Helper is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen area, assisting kitchen staff with cleaning duties, and ensuring that all kitchen equipment, utensils, and workspaces meet health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen floors, walls, counters, and work surfaces.
  • Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
  • Dispose of garbage and recycling according to company procedures.
  • Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies and inventory.
  • Clean refrigerators, freezers, ovens, and other kitchen appliances.
  • Refill cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock is low.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Support kitchen staff with basic non-cooking tasks as required.
  • Ensure dining and food preparation areas remain clean and organized.
  • Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning or kitchen stewarding experience is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of basic cleaning procedures and hygiene standards.
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift moderate weights, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
  • Must have a Valid QID.
  • Must have Food Handler Certificate or Appointment.

Pay: From QAR1,500.00 per month
