The IT Support is responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users with various IT-related issues. This role involves troubleshooting hardware and software problems, assisting with network connectivity and resolving software application errors. They are also required to provide support via phone, email and/or in-person, and must follow the procedures to document and track issues for effective resolution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices.
- Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve technical issues (repair or replace parts, debugging, etc.).
- Provide technical support for systems and networks.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
- Troubleshoot POS systems, printers, and Wi-Fi access points.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via phone or email.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
- Set up and configure desktops and laptops for new users based on company best practice guidelines.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and relevant questioning.
- Track, route, and document problems, requests, and resolutions.
Requirements:
- Degree / Diploma in IT or a related discipline.
- 2–3 years of experience in IT support, networking, or help desk operations.
- Experience in the theme park industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong technical knowledge of computer hardware, software, gaming systems, and related technologies, with an enthusiastic approach to continuous learning.
Good skills in:
- IT administration
- Information analysis
- Computer hardware/software systems
- Data center management and data governance
- Computer networks, network administration, and network installation
- Database design and development
- Enthusiastic approach to expanding knowledge of all gaming is plus
*Immediate or short-notice joiners are preferred.
Pay: Up to QAR5,000.00 per month
