Full job description

  • Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.

  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and guest amenities.

  • Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and sanitize surfaces.

  • Refill room supplies such as toiletries, tissues, and minibar items (if assigned).

  • Report any maintenance issues (broken fixtures, leaks, damaged furniture) to supervisors.

  • Ensure proper handling and disposal of waste and soiled linens.

  • Follow daily room assignment schedules given by the housekeeping supervisor.

  • Respond promptly to guest requests in a polite and professional manner.

  • Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping equipment and trolley.

  • Follow health, safety, and hygiene procedures at all times.

  • Assist in deep cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing or furniture polishing when required.

  • Ensure lost and found items are immediately reported to the supervisor.

Experience Needed

  • Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and hotel housekeeping standards

  • Ability to use cleaning tools and chemicals safely

  • Understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices

  • Basic knowledge of hotel room setup standards

  • 0–1 year experience in housekeeping

  • Experience in hotels, resorts, is an advantage
