1. Job Purpose

To ensure the safety and security of students, staff, parents, visitors, school property, and facilities by maintaining a secure school environment, controlling access to the premises, monitoring activities, and responding promptly to emergencies.

2. Key Responsibilities and DutiesA. Access Control and Visitor Management

• Monitor and control entry and exit points of the school premises.
• Verify the identity of visitors, parents, contractors, and other individuals entering the campus.
• Ensure all visitors register at the designated reception or security point and receive visitor passes where applicable.
• Prevent unauthorized persons from entering the school premises.
• Monitor student entry and dismissal procedures and ensure students leave only with authorized persons, in accordance with school policy.
• Maintain accurate visitor, vehicle, and incident registers.

B. Student and Staff Safety

• Maintain a visible security presence throughout the school campus.
• Monitor corridors, entrances, playgrounds, parking areas, and other designated locations.
• Support safe student arrival, dismissal, school events, and parent pick-up arrangements.
• Report suspicious behaviour, security concerns, bullying incidents, or potential risks to the appropriate school authority.
• Ensure that students are not left unattended in restricted or unsafe areas, and promptly inform the responsible staff of any concerns.
• Maintain professional, respectful, and child-friendly conduct at all times.

C. Campus and Property Security

• Conduct regular security patrols of the school buildings, playgrounds, parking areas, and surrounding premises.
• Monitor gates, doors, windows, fences, and restricted areas to identify security risks.
• Prevent unauthorized access to school equipment, documents, and other assets.
• Monitor CCTV systems, where assigned, and report suspicious activity or equipment malfunctions.
• Report damage, theft, vandalism, or unusual activities to the Security Supervisor or school administration.
• Ensure gates and designated access points are secured according to school procedures.

D. Emergency Response and Health & Safety

• Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, accidents, and security incidents.
• Assist with evacuation procedures and guide students, staff, and visitors to designated assembly points.
• Follow the school's emergency response, fire safety, and crisis management procedures.
• Immediately report fire hazards, suspicious packages, medical emergencies, and other potential threats.
• Contact emergency services when authorized or required by emergency procedures.
• Assist in keeping emergency exits, fire equipment, and access routes unobstructed.
• Participate in security briefings, emergency drills, and relevant safety training.

E. Traffic and Parking Management

• Monitor vehicle movement at school entrances and exits.
• Assist with traffic flow during school opening and closing hours.
• Ensure vehicles are parked only in designated areas.
• Support safe movement of school buses, parents' vehicles, and delivery vehicles.
• Prevent unauthorized parking and report traffic-related concerns to the relevant supervisor.

F. Reporting and Communication

• Maintain daily security logs, patrol records, visitor registers, and incident reports.
• Immediately report security breaches, accidents, suspicious activities, and policy violations.
• Communicate effectively with the Security Supervisor, school administration, teachers, and other relevant staff.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding students, staff, visitors, and school operations.
• Follow instructions issued by the school administration and comply with established security policies.

Pay: QAR1,300.00 - QAR2,500.00 per month
