Full job description

A food delivery supplier sources, stores, and transports food products to businesses or consumers. Their core responsibilities include safely handling perishable goods, maintaining temperature control, optimizing delivery routes, processing payments, and ensuring the timely and hygienic arrival of all items.

The duties of a food delivery supplier are divided into categories:

1. Logistics and Transport

  • Route Optimization: Planning the most efficient delivery routes to ensure on-time delivery while accounting for traffic and weather.
  • Loading & Unloading: Safely lifting and securing cargo to prevent damage during transit.
  • Fleet Maintenance: Keeping delivery vehicles and transport bags clean, sanitized, and in safe working condition.
  • Dispatch: Managing a fleet of drivers or couriers (for larger-scale suppliers or delivery platforms) to ensure timely dispatch and dispatch tracking.

2. Food Safety and Quality Assurance

  • Temperature Control: Monitoring and recording the temperature of refrigerated/frozen goods to ensure safety and prevent spoilage.
  • Hygiene Compliance: Adhering to strict food safety regulations (such as Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point - HACCP protocols).
  • Damage Prevention: Inspecting packaging for tampering or leaks before handing orders to customers.

3. Customer Service and Administration

  • Order Verification: Ensuring the delivered order exactly matches the customer's invoice or digital receipt.
  • Payment Processing: Collecting cash or managing digital transactions, and maintaining accurate logs of daily transactions.
  • Conflict Resolution: Handling delivery discrepancies, customer complaints, or missing items in a professional, service-oriented manner.

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. Minimum of 3 Years experience as a Food Supplier Delivery here in Doha, Qatar

2. Age between 25-40 yrs old

3. with NOC

4. QID validity at least 6 months

5. with Medium or Heavy Weight Driving Licence

6. All Nationalities are welcome to apply

7. Salary is negotiable upon final interview - full package

Pay: QAR2,500.00 - QAR3,500.00 per month
