Mazaona Afya IT is a specialized technology provider focused on delivering innovative IT solutions for the healthcare sector. Our Doha branch is committed to supporting hospitals, clinics, and medical organizations with secure, reliable, and efficient IT systems that enhance patient care and streamline operations.

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Healthcare IT Support to provide technical assistance, maintain IT systems, and ensure smooth operations across healthcare environments. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to supporting medical professionals in delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-line IT support to healthcare staff and administrators.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues in clinical settings.
  • Maintain and support healthcare applications, including EMR/EHR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data security and privacy standards (HIPAA, HL7, GDPR).
  • Document support requests, resolutions, and system updates.
  • Collaborate with IT teams on upgrades, integrations, and digital health initiatives.
  • Train staff on IT tools, applications, and best practices.
  • Liaise with vendors and service providers for technical support.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support, preferably in healthcare environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office, and networking fundamentals.
  • Experience with healthcare IT systems (EMR/EHR, PACS, HIS) is an advantage.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in dynamic healthcare settings.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
