Job Title: Waiter / Waitress

Location: Qatar
Department: Food & Beverage / Operations
Reports To: Restaurant Supervisor / Restaurant Manager

Job Summary

We are looking for friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Waiters/Waitresses to provide excellent dining experiences for our guests. The ideal candidate will greet customers, take orders accurately, serve food and beverages efficiently, and ensure a high standard of hospitality while maintaining a clean and organized dining area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Present menus, explain menu items, and make recommendations when requested.
  • Take customer orders accurately and enter them into the POS system.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation standards are met.
  • Check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any requests.
  • Process customer payments accurately and issue receipts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining tables and service stations.
  • Set up and clear tables before and after service.
  • Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely order delivery.
  • Handle customer complaints professionally and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Follow food safety, hygiene, and company service standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a customer service role is required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Friendly, positive attitude with a strong customer service focus.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry serving trays.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Good command of English (Arabic or other languages is an advantage).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in fine dining, cafés, or full-service restaurants.
  • Familiarity with POS systems.
  • Food Safety or HACCP certification is an advantage.
