Maintenance Foreman

Salary: QAR 14,000 per month

Job Summary

ABC Fitout & Repairs is seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Foreman to lead our maintenance team in Doha. The successful candidate will supervise daily maintenance activities, coordinate technicians and tradespeople, ensure work is completed safely and efficiently, and maintain high-quality standards across commercial and residential fit-out and repair projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge and excellent team management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of maintenance technicians and skilled trades personnel.
• Plan, assign, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with company quality standards and project specifications.
• Diagnose maintenance issues involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, painting, masonry, and general building systems.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure all maintenance work complies with Qatar health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Monitor inventory of tools, equipment, and maintenance materials, and coordinate procurement when necessary.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and maintenance manuals.
• Prepare daily work reports, maintenance logs, and progress updates for management.
• Train and mentor maintenance staff on proper work procedures and safety practices.
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests and oversee urgent repairs.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, Building Maintenance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of maintenance experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems, fit-out works, and facility operations.
• Experience supervising multi-skilled maintenance teams.
• Ability to read technical drawings and maintenance documentation.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Valid Qatar driving license is preferred.

Schedule

• Full-time
• Six-day work week, with overtime and emergency call-outs as required by operational needs.
