Doha Academy is seeking a dedicated, caring, and experienced Inclusion Assistant to support students with additional learning needs and help create an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with additional learning needs.
• Work closely with teachers and the Inclusion/SEN team to support individual learning plans.
• Assist students with their academic, social, communication, and organizational development.
• Adapt learning activities and resources to meet individual student needs.
• Encourage students' independence, confidence, and participation in school life.
• Monitor and report on student progress and provide feedback to teachers and the Inclusion team.
• Support students both inside and outside the classroom as required.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records.
• Follow the school's safeguarding, inclusion, and child-protection policies.
• Build positive and professional relationships with students, parents, teachers, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Inclusion Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN/Teaching Assistant, or similar role.
• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs or SEN.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Patient, compassionate, proactive, and able to build positive relationships with students.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Experience within a British or international school environment is highly desirable.
• A relevant qualification in Education, SEN, Psychology, or a related field is an advantage.
