Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring, managing, and improving the organization's cybersecurity posture across enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor, investigate, and respond to cybersecurity incidents and security events.
• Manage and maintain security solutions including firewalls, endpoint protection, antivirus, email security, and identity & access management systems.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, security audits, and risk assessments.
• Support remediation activities and implement security controls to address identified risks.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with IT teams to strengthen security practices and improve overall security posture.
• Prepare security reports and recommend continuous improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in Cyber Security or Information Security.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar).
• Experience with firewalls, EDR solutions, vulnerability management tools, and Microsoft 365/Azure Security.
• Strong understanding of network security, cloud security, IAM, incident response, and security frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS Controls.
• Relevant cybersecurity certifications are an advantage (e.g., Security+, CEH, Microsoft Security, Fortinet, Palo Alto, CISSP).
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Candidates currently based in Qatar or willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
