We are seeking a skilled and proactive Cyber Security Specialist to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for protecting our organization’s systems, networks, and data from cyber threats. You will play a key role in identifying vulnerabilities, implementing security measures, and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor network traffic and systems for security breaches or suspicious activity
• Identify vulnerabilities and implement appropriate countermeasures
• Conduct regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing
• Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices
• Respond to incidents and provide timely resolution and reporting
• Manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus solutions
• Ensure compliance with local and international cybersecurity standards
• Provide security awareness training to staff
• Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles
• Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS systems
• Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and SIEM solutions
• Understanding of operating systems (Windows, Linux) and cloud security is a plus
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CompTIA Security+ are preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in incident response and digital forensics
• Knowledge of scripting or programming (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR5,500.00 per month
