Job Summary

The IT Officer is responsible for managing, maintaining, and supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, computer systems, networks, servers, and related technology resources. The role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of IT systems, maintains data security and integrity, provides technical support to employees, and minimizes system downtime to support business continuity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the company’s computer systems, networks, servers, and IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to employees and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
• Install, configure, and update computer systems, software, and IT equipment.
• Monitor system performance and ensure the smooth operation of IT services.
• Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect company data and systems.
• Perform regular data backups and ensure data recovery procedures are in place.
• Maintain IT equipment, software licenses, and system documentation.
• Manage user accounts, access permissions, and system configurations.
• Identify and resolve technical problems to minimize operational disruptions.
• Ensure the security, reliability, and efficiency of the company’s IT systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and system administration.
• Experience in IT security, data backup, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to manage IT operations, maintain systems, and ensure business continuity.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Relevant professional certifications will be considered an advantage.
