Full job description

An established technology company is expanding its software team and is seeking a bright early-career engineer who combines solid software fundamentals with disciplined use of modern AI coding tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build well-scoped features and fixes across web, mobile and backend applications under senior guidance.
  • Use modern AI coding tools as part of the development workflow while understanding, testing and validating generated code.
  • Write and maintain tests, documentation and technical notes.
  • Assist with API integrations, troubleshooting and smaller development tasks.
  • Participate in code review and learn production engineering practices.
  • Contribute to selected AI-enabled product features under guidance.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of software-development experience, or a strong graduate with substantial projects/internships.
  • Solid JavaScript/TypeScript, React or React Native, Node.js, database and Git fundamentals.
  • Regular practical use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex or equivalent.
  • Evidence of building real software: GitHub, portfolio, published application or substantial project.
  • Ability to explain and validate code rather than blindly accept AI-generated output.
  • Clear written English and a strong learning mindset.
  • Currently based in Qatar and eligible to work locally.

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR7,000.00 per month
