We’re Hiring: Procurement Assistant (F&B / Hospitality Experience Preferred)

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Assistant to support our purchasing and supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have experience in the F&B or hospitality industry and be familiar with procurement documentation, including LPO (Local Purchase Orders), supplier coordination, and inventory-related purchasing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and issue Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) accurately and in a timely manner
  • Source food, beverage, operational, and non-food items from approved suppliers
  • Obtain and compare supplier quotations to ensure competitive pricing and quality standards
  • Follow up on purchase orders and coordinate deliveries with suppliers
  • Verify delivery notes, invoices, and supporting documents against approved LPOs
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, supplier files, and purchasing documentation
  • Coordinate with kitchen, operations, and store teams regarding purchasing requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist in replenishment planning
  • Assist in cost-control initiatives by identifying savings opportunities and alternative suppliers
  • Resolve supplier, delivery, pricing, and invoice discrepancies
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and approval procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in procurement or purchasing, preferably within F&B, restaurants, cafés, hotels, or hospitality
  • Strong understanding of LPO preparation, purchase order management, and supplier coordination
  • Knowledge of inventory control and purchasing procedures
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Strong organizational, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Experience with ERP or procurement systems is an advantage
