Storekeeper – Food & Beverage (F&B)

Job Summary

We are looking for an organised and reliable Storekeeper to manage the receiving, storage, issuance and accurate recording of food, beverage, packaging and operational supplies. The successful candidate will ensure proper stock control, food-safety compliance and timely distribution of items to our outlets and departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive food, beverage, packaging, cleaning and operational supplies from approved suppliers.
• Verify delivered quantities, quality, expiry dates and product condition against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Report shortages, damaged goods, incorrect deliveries or quality concerns immediately.
• Store items according to food-safety requirements and approved storage procedures.
• Maintain appropriate temperature, cleanliness and organisation within dry, chilled and frozen storage areas.
• Follow FIFO and FEFO methods to minimise expiry, spoilage and wastage.
• Issue stock only against properly authorised requisitions and maintain accurate records.
• Update stock movements, receipts, transfers and issuances in the inventory system.
• Maintain accurate bin cards, stock registers and supporting documentation.
• Conduct daily checks and assist with weekly and monthly physical stock counts.
• Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and report replenishment requirements.
• Separate and report expired, damaged, slow-moving and non-conforming items.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Cost Control, Finance, Central Kitchen and outlet teams.
• Ensure all items are properly labelled, dated, arranged and easily traceable.
• Maintain store security and restrict access to authorised personnel.
• Keep storage areas clean, safe and compliant with hygiene and pest-control standards.
• Support internal and external inventory, food-safety and financial audits.
• Follow company policies, health and safety procedures, and food-safety requirements.
• Perform other store and inventory-related duties assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably within an F&B company, restaurant, hotel, café, catering business or central kitchen.
• High school certificate or diploma; a qualification in inventory, supply chain or logistics is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of receiving, storage, stock issuance and inventory-control procedures.
• Strong understanding of FIFO, FEFO, expiry control and food-storage requirements.
• Experience handling dry, chilled and frozen food products.
• Familiarity with inventory or ERP systems.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and stock-reporting tools.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and supporting documents.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Physically capable of lifting, moving and arranging stock safely.
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and public holidays when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR4,000.00 - QAR5,000.00 per month
